Sustainable London

Sustainable London is a 2-day hackathon event with 30 students and their mentors work to create innovative solutions to local sustainability and climate issues using STEM as the main driver.

Participants will receive problem-solving training from guest speakers and will present their solutions via a poster to a panel of judges who will evaluate their understanding of the problem, research, innovation, creativity, confidence, and presentation style.

across Year 9 - Year 11 are onboarded onto the programme  two times a year.
STEM skills
are cultivated by the students whilst they develop innovative STEM-based solutions to sustainability challenges.
Hackathons
that allow students to build their critical thinking, teamwork and presentation skills through the programme.
12 - 20 hours
experience for students which supplements their school curriculum and is led by relatable Motivez Mentors.
40+ mentors
and industry professionals support our young people through a structured mentoring scheme aiding their social capital and career development.
Changemakers
who are prepared to pursue STEM subjects and become green leaders in their community. Students  join the Motivez community for after-care support and future opportunities.
